Excuse us, we’re Catholic…

I just heard on a television news show that the Catholic church is banning the release of Julia Robert’s latest fim, ‘Eat, Pray, Love’.

The reason why? Because when in Rome Julia’s character does not visit a Catholic church.

Yes, that is incredibly true. Because everything has to be about one particular religion, one belief and one God. Because my God is better than yours, and if you do not follow my line of thought and belief, than I’m afraid you will be heading straight off to the fiery flames of hell.

I read the book and it is one of my all-time favourites. It’s an eye-opener for everyone especially women. It’s about finding peace and happiness within yourself, which must be the most important thing in life at the end of the day.

But no…let’s ban the film because the main character did not visit a church. Because the main character ‘chose’ to ‘pray’ in India, not Italy.

Blah.
