A Life Cut Too Short.

As I write this I’m still under shock. I’ve just read the news that a former course-mate passed away. The circumstances surrounding her demise, at the moment, seem a bit shady but no one knows yet how and why it happened.

I remember Margaret as a quiet girl. So quiet in fact that you could have easily mistaken her quiet character for a snobbish one. I remember her always sitting at the same spot during lectures – midway through the lecture hall on the outer side of the row. She was smart, kind, always kept to herself and the few words she said were always sound ones. She did not let personal circumstances hinder her love of law, and we graduated after six years of studying together.

And now she’s gone, leaving behind two children. She was only 31 years old. My age.

Rest in peace dearest Margaret.

Life is one true bitch at times.
