This is my home. This is Gozo!

Good morning friends! I hope you’re all doing great after what was hopefully a special weekend! Ours was (more about that later).

The following video is doing the rounds on Facebook at the moment. It’s a short film – produced, edited, directed by two Gozitans – Nick Abela and Philip Sultana. The two main protagonists are Gozitan, the setting is 100% Gozitan as is everything else that appears there. It’s a great piece of work and every bit of praise is really due to these two guys. Their end result is simply beautiful!

This small island, people, is my home. It may be part of Malta, but it has its’ own identity. There are approximately 30,000 people living on the island, which itself is tiny when compared to others – 14km in length and around 7km in width. However it definitely makes up for it with its’ beautiful scenery, rich history and great beaches (which I can’t wait to dip myself into!!)

So for anyone who’s ever asked me “Where are you from?”, this is my home.

This is Gozo!

  1. This video is awesome! Wow. I’ve been here for a little over 2 years now and STILL haven’t made it to Gozo 😦 But in a few weeks that will change! Heading to Gozo for the weekend with friends, can’t wait!

  2. Gozo, the best place to relax in Malta ! Get there for few days and you will feel completly rested and ready to hit the busy Malta again !
